Firstly I just have to say (even though I knew about this earlier (I just haven't had time to post until now))...

CHASERS. APEC. CHARGES. DROPPED.
Well, as if they weren’t going to get off. I mean, seriously, when it comes down to it, what did they actually do? Nothing, really. Or nothing they weren’t granted permission to do at any rate ( Read more... )

television, comedy, it's the news for srs, chaser, boring real life update, job

You get the best customers ever for trufax! When we put people's wallets aside for them, they just come back, snatch them off the counter and look through them suspiciously as if they're expecting us to have stolen everything. :/

Of course one nice customer doesn't equal another. Some of them are bloody awful. I loved that lady though - she's a semi-regular and is nice as pie :)

On a side note, what bitchy customers you speak of! :o

You met Frank! And saw his show! You lucky thing! *insanely jealous*

The Hitch-Hiker series is awesome. :D Except, for me, it gets a bit too random after the third or fourth book. XD

Pocket watches are also awesome. I've wanted one for years now, and was very disappointed when I learnt that my grandfather doesn't have one to pass down to me. XD

Yep! :D I have met him previously actually, and (at risk of raising jealousy) have even once worn his Lano & Woodley hat. Frank is awesome solo, but I still can't help but pine for the days of the duo... :(

Yeah, I'm loving it. I think the super randomness might just be the right sort of deterrent from my way too serious and boring life XD

Aren't they just? I have two! The aforementioned Nightmare one, and also a gold one with a train on the front.
It's a pity about your lack of heirloom-y pocket watch though. That would be so cool!

You wore the hat?! I... You... Wow. Yes, you have made me both jealous and speechless. XD I miss Col too. :(

Hehehe. That's why I watch Doctor Who and Torchwood. XD

Aw, stop making me jealous! I fully intend to buy myself a pocket watch, some day (when I find one that I like, and can afford to buy it). Because seriously, why have a wristwatch when you could have a pocket watch?

Yep, she was lovely. Pity about the rest of them! :P

It is fairly good I reckon. But yes, long hours suck.
I get basically $11.14 an hour, so I have earned about $200 a week each week so far. Will get about $300 when this week's pay goes through though, because of all the hours I'm doing this week (30 all up).

I shall definitely try!

Aww, yay for nice old ladies. I'm glad the job has been less sucktastic. You're doing pretty well if you're working in customer service and haven't tried to kill anyone yet. *high five*

I reckon! :) Yep, it's going okay.
Oh but believe me, after only a month in customer service I'm amazed I haven't committed a murder yet. All in good time I guess! ;P

And freaking hell, I still need to write a letter to you. I have actually started one, I'm just really lazy. *smacks self* I guarantee you, you will get one eventually. When exactly though is anybody's guess XD

I certainly can't say anything against your laziness without becoming a rampaging, mutant hypocrite, so... carry on. Every time you write a bit then stop you could do it in different kinds of pens to make it a patchwork letter. or you could say you wrote it in invisible ink and not write anything, because I wouldn't know what to do to make it visible anyway.

Wow, I'm crazy helpful, aren't I? :D
