That actually looks pretty damn cool. Just the short didn't impress me much. The beginning of it seemed so Wall-E to me with the creatures that don't talk collecting junk on a seemingly abandoned planet. The idea of getting more backstory and all in a full length film is pretty cool though. And I'm glad they let the creator direct it. When I saw "Tim Burton" on the title of the trailer I thought "That sucks for the guy who created it. I guess they just paid him for his idea and gave the project to Tim Burton," but they didn't! So cool.

You know, the Wall-E connection didn't even occur to me, but you're right. The animation looks fantastic, though, and I think a full length movie will be awesome. Plus the music in the trailers pretty cool, too. :)
