I'm on my way to getting Wii Fit! Ok, that may be one of the more moronic things I've said, but it's a truth fact. Wii Fits have been virtually impossible to find since they came out last spring, but I got an email from Circuit City last week saying they had them in stock. I've received these emails before and usually by the time I get to the ( Read more... )

I'm getting very scared about PD. And I think this season is amazing! I'm slowly rewatching season one (why does life decide to get all busy just as my PD DVDs arrive? not fair!), and it's fabulous, of course, but I think this season is just a notch more fabulous.

Oh, don't get canceled show. Do ratings even count anymore, with so much network television online and people using TiVo or DVR? I mean, really?

Maybe we should fly to Hollywood and hang out at the ABC exec office with signs. Think that'd work? :)

Unfortunately, ratings do count, but I think they do factor in Tivo watchers too. It just takes longer to get that info for some reason. I'm hoping that maybe people are so sick of the presidential campaign and have already made their choice anyway so they'll not bother tuning in to Obama's thing and will watch PD instead. *crosses fingers*

I would fly out to ABC if I could afford it, but I know there are other "Save PD" campaigns being contemplated. Probably the best thing to do is watch the show and visit the PD site and maybe post on the ABC message boards. I wish they had PD merchandise. I'd buy it all!

Yeah, I've tried to get on the PD website every day and click various options. I sent in a question for the Ask Pushing Daisies thing, and sometimes, even if I'm busy and can't watch it, I'll let an episode just run on my computer to help whatever numbers they may be counting there.

I'm really hoping they'll give it a chance, especially considering how hard they were advertising it this summer. When I was in New York, you literally could not walk three blocks without seeing a Pushing Daisies ad on a billboard, building, bus, bus stop, or one of the huge flashy screens in Times Square. It was everywhere. I don't even want to know how much that cost. And if they're investing in it that heavily - the tour, too? - don't you think they'd give it more time to prove itself?

It doesn't make sense to me, otherwise.

And dude - I want Pushing Daisies merchandise! I even went looking for some in the ABC store, to no avail. Silly ABC people. I would so buy Pie Hole gear.

I feel kind of silly now, admitting that I not-watch episodes just in the hope that someone out there is counting. Oh, well. Thus is my love for this show.
