Last week my friend Stephanie asked me if I ever don't quite feel like a grown up compared to people around me. She's married, has a kid, owns her home, does all of the adult-type stuff you're supposed to do, but still feels like she's in her early 20's and hasn't reached the peak of her maturity yet. Good Luck with your list....mine is quite long as well, but at least the back hall is getting painted this week, and it''s now bright and cheery back there.

I just played your song and it woke Tim out of a deep sleep....HA! That's going to have to be my new alarm for him!

He was like "What the hell is that?"

See, that's what I'm looking for. I want my house to be bright and cheery. One of the things on my list is to paint some of the rooms. Waaaay down the list, but it's on there.

I think that's a great wake up song. Doesn't it make him want to jump around and dance? Maybe that's just me. ;)

Honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the books after the first one and couldn't even get myself to read the most recent one. I've got issues with Edward and Bella and their weird relationship. Still, I'm planning on seeing the movie, so clearly I'm torn. ;)

I like those MGMT tracks - a very 80s vibe to 'em - thanks for sharing and recommending them!

And yes, I feel the same way about feeling far younger than some of those around me - and perhaps waiting to grow up is a good way of putting it. I'm happy to put that off for as long as is possible though. But I am responsible most of the time. *cough*

I'm glad you like the songs! I can't seem to stop listening to them. They're just so catchy.

Now that you mention it, I am pretty responsible and I don't really have an urge to grow up either. I really just want to start taking better care of my house as I'm paying quite a lot to live in the darn thing. I know it mostly boils down to me comparing my life to others which I shouldn't do. My life's just fine and dandy. :)
