Nope, the kidnapped wife doesn't make it out alive in Fargo, one of the best films by the Coen brothers.

I've never seen Fargo, but ND accents are pretty close to Western Canadian accents. At least, I can't tell the difference.

Interesting. Yeah, they sound like our (Michiganders) exaggerated impressions of Canadian accents. We (people in the Lower Peninsula--LP) also make fun of people in the Upper Peninsula (UP) for talking like that. We call them "Yoopers." :)

It's a little strange to hear people actually talking like that--no offense, of course. :)
