Oh, wow!

You took a character that really didn't interest me much (I only know the movies) and made him breathe. I loved seeing the whole movement through his eyes.

From the people leaving Magneto even though things are getting worse, to him apologizing to Toad--that was awesome. Toad's epiphany about Mystique and before is such a great ending note.

I really enjoyed this!

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

I got really lucky with the prompt because I really couldn't imagine Magneto letting anyone in the Brotherhood not getting a decent education if they were teenaged.

Again, thank you.

This is really great! Your Toad is perceptive and philosophical. It's cool that his gratitude for finding a place in the Brotherhood hasn't made him shut out his doubts about Magneto's goals.

It was a really cool prompt to work with, and I like the idea of Magneto letting the Brotherhood think for themselves.

I'm really glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback.

Thank you so much for writing this! (And sorry I didn't comment sooner... real life got in the way, darn it!)

I loved the part with Hank; your Hank voice was very good, and the foreshadowing was cool. I also liked how you touched on Toad's comic-book cannon thing for Wanda without making him look pathetic and her look bitchy.

I liked Toad's characterization, and how it progressed from him just enjoying the action to: he couldn't take what tonnes of people like him wouldn't get if he didn't stick with this.

No worries, real life happens. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, it was such an interesting prompt to work with.

>>I loved the part with Hank; your Hank voice was very good, and the foreshadowing was cool. << That was what I liked about the prompt, because, of the X-men we see in the film, none of the were visibly mutants, while at least 2 of the Brotherhood were, and that would have to have played into the dynamics.

I don't think anyone could blame him for having a thing for Wanda :)

Again, I'm really pleased that you liked it so much.

This is awesome - I love Toad's POV, and his origin story, and the tentative friendship he strikes up with Henry. Really lovely!
