This was rather cool. Well, in a slightly gross way, but cool nonetheless - so totally different from anything else I've read about the aftermath of Alkali Lake and Jean's death. I suppose you could even read it in a kind of metaphorical way - Jean's death sucking the life out of all of the students, and of Scott (although the birds dropping from the trees would be taking a metaphor a little far ;-) ).

And kudos for Monty Python references *g*.

Ouch. This was tremendously creepy, not to mention simply tremendous. I particularly liked the bit about her bloated limbs, I got such a clear image of the walking corpse. Eww. And wow.
