In for a penny, in for a pound, right? Emma did entrust Sabitha Melcross to my tender loving care, however tacitly ( Read more... )

Aww. Man. Do you really think my ego needs such inflating? ;)

I keep trying to think of ways to explain what makes this entry as cool as it is, but it's hard to communicate why what I have to say is complimentary. :P Like - you really know how to /spin/ a cliche. Use its resonance, like. I don't know. I will shut up. Consider yourself complimented, dammit.

I am complimented! I accept it.

I like playing with words. What can I say? They're so slippery and cunning and delightful ... mmm.

"Emma told me." Shaw pauses.

What did Emma tell him? I keep reading that biot over and over again, and I'm confused about what was getting talked about then? What did Shaw know?

Also, WTF? How the hell is Emma supposed to know that Sabby knows Percy? I thought that the whole point of not telling Sabby about Travis or Percy in person was so that she can have her big surprise at the stupid meeting.

Gawd, I am obviously out of the loop. Would be nice if people could refrain from rearranging everything on me when I can't be around.

Emma /isn't/ supposed to know that Sabby knows Percy? At least, not as far as I know?

And if you ever felt like Emma would have told her about things in person, we can do that. I'm not deathly attached to shock and surprise - I try never to get deathly attached to anything, because it'd ruin fun scenes like this. ;) I think it would be /interesting/, and at the time made sense. It may or may not make sense by the time it gets here. I dunno. Stuff happens. RP rearranges things sometimes. Part of what I love about it.

All Emma told him was that her White Knight's name is Travis Reed ( ... )

This is a most righteous and awesome log. Man, I love Shaw and his Manipulative I WILL PWN YOU (subtlety is mine!) powers. Also love the Sabby, who is intelligent and sharp and knows she's being manipulated. It's a fantastic scene.

I have a fondness for the coconut, can I just say?

Man, how did I know that you'd like the coconut? HOW DID I KNOW? Sabby'll probably toss it out the window (heads up!), anyway.

Thank you for the kind words! We had fun with the scene, and it was good for the Sabby's storyline, and it did not do poor things for the Shaw's, either. They probably don't have many more scenes left to them, because of the alignment of power, so it's good to have and hoard the loveliness while it lasts. Mmmm.

*clings* Don't say that! We shall have perfect and awesome RP forever and ever amen.

Cough. Well. Any yes, the coconut /did/ go right out the window. Or in the trash, more likely. Not so much because she's angry about is because... really, what /does/ one do with a coconut?

Smash it open, drink the milk, and eat the meat. Mmmm, coconuts.
