He did a lot after the break-up. More than he ever admitted to her or anyone else. :) That heart-ache was there. They had grown close so it wasn't just the intimacy, but he missed just being close to her on a regular basis. Now that Taryn is back in his life and they're rekindling their relationship, that heart-ache is gone away, but he still misses the closeness he and Sabella had as friends and confidants.

If Alexi hadn't been born a mutant, how would his life be different? At what point would it have started to diverge from his current life? (Bearing in mind that Kisa would probably still be a mutant, since she's showing powers other than Daddy Dear's. :P )

Well, if he hadn't been born a mutant, the secret never would've been kept from Taryn of course, and the two would've likely been together all these years, which is the major difference. As a result, he would probably still be in the Marines, but there's no telling where he would be living and as a result, would never have met anyone in NYC. So if he had never been a mutant, none of his current life would likely have occurred. However! It still could've been possible, since he would've done anything to help Kisa with her 'breathing problem,' and hunted down any of the best doctors at the time, including Essex.

What do you really think of Toxin?

Alexi thinks Toxin is a strong person and a beautiful woman. Though he hasn't gotten to know her very well, she comes across as having some kind of barrier up against the world, with most people. He can't imagine why and wouldn't be the type to ask her about it.
