ICly privateSometimes I just wonder what the hell I've gotten myself into. How can something feel SO right and SO wrong at the same time? I told Blitz I can't go back. Or Won't go back. Probably some of both. What Magneto is doing is right. It's what's got to be done. And no one back at Xavier's will ever understand that ( Read more... )

Aly would still like to be involved in this, but I dunno. Either it would be really good, because she would see John being a complete bastard and get mad, or. Um. It would be bad because she really does love him, and she would just follow him blindly. Also because she's a teenager and a moron.

So really, I have no idea.

And I am going on at length about this on-channel right now. So really, Sao or Tatia could tell you more.

I'm... not opposed. I even have an idea, but that is /totally/ up to John, since this is his scene for /his/ development.

Let's discuss this tonight when we meet before the scene starts. I should be on by about 6 PDT.

I have to admit, I'm a bit reluctant, as of yet. Even with Padraig's backing, I'm not sure John's ready to face two Xavierites yet; and I'm just not sure if he's ready to face Alyssa.

Messing with Jubilee alone will be hard enough.

Yeah - keep in mind, Magneto is kind've on shaky ground with the school at the moment, and is now receiving intelligence from them directly and indirectly. You'll note that in a time where there really isn't much to attack, Erik hasn't followed the general trend of just trying to destroy the school again. He's trying to stay on decent terms with him, and it makes him look like a jackass to have a pair of his recruits running around shooting up 'innocent' kids without his permission. So the fewer that are involved, the better for the Brotherhooders, because Magneto won't be pleased when he hears about it - and I'm sure he will.

Basically, involving more than one person could step it up from a 'stern talking to' offense to a 'deep shit' offense. Not to mention, he'll be angry if John and Padraig inadvertently take themselves out of commission.

Leah is not affiliated with Xavier or his school in any way, she knows both of these guys, and she's not known as a mutant sympathizer, let's say. Mutants messing with her, especially one she liked, would be good for her character development and upcoming story arc (and perhaps others', for all I know!).

Just a thought, if you need other options.
