The Medbay

The rhythmic beeping and the gentle hum of machines and monitors fill the medbay with their quiet song, their soft sounds settling around in a still hush that the medical staff seem somehow unwilling to break, shuffling around and speaking in low voices. Many things are changing, but ultimately I believe this will be a change for the better. I would like nothing more than that we should all have peace - from the media, from those who harbor ill will towards us - but that we should live in hiding for the sake of this peace is too high a price to pay.
