Ok! So I know that I am going to regret this, but it was a really good scene (so good, actually, that I made Bahir pause it for me because we started it the night before my 8 am final to give me motivation to study between poses, and I refused to fade out when it was going such interseting places), and I like commentarying interesting scenes, and I have been promised things in return!

u r annoying.

Blah, blah, essay, blah, blah.

Bahir and Natalie a sort of alike in that trust thing. Fundamentally, Bahir is a trusting person. And once his trust is given, once his faith is set in a person, it is very hard to shake. See: Shaw.

But they are not alike in the talking about their mutations thing. Bahir doesn't enjoy discussing it, or discussing mutations very much. He is curious about other people, but not happy to share his own.

I'm glad you decided to talk about Natalie's, too. Hahahah. There were bits and pieces in my commentary that were sort of kind of 'pls talk about this' in a way.

Blah, blah, mutation essay, blah, blah.I like ( ... )

Her scowl here is pretty typical prickly Natalie - she /is/ prickly, and she does this with just about everyone. The thing is that she never really means it, and if you stick it out past the prickle, she usually gets over it pretty quickly. So Natalie scowls, and Bahir laughs, and that's the end of the prickle. This is pretty evident in most of her interactions with people. If they brush past it, things are fine - if they take offense or make a big deal of it, it blows up and they're unlikely to get along. Natalie's got a fairly thick skin, and she likes being around people who do, too. She doesn't-- there's not a lot of dissembling with her. Most of what she's thinking and feeling shows on her face, and she doesn't bother to hide it in conversation a lot of times, either - and when she does, it comes out very, very awkward. So people who deal well with an honesty that goes beyond norms and into like, blunt, get on with her. People who don't, or who don't get on with what she's honest about, don't.Hahah. They are so much a like that ( ... )
