What does it make you when you want to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and circumstances say that you can't? Am I truly doing the right thing by feeding Chris Rossi a cover story that's only about 75% fact, and half of that is spin? Telling him the whole story, of uniforms and jets and a secret, undeclared war (Because ( Read more... )

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO TO HER, EMMA GRACE FROST!

Tsk, Jean does not believe this. She is attempting to determine whether she actually does believe this on some level, and this is why she gave Rossi a line of bull. It is not, but in the absence of a support network, Jean has to play the part of moral cross-exam for herself. :P

Jean will eventually question her actions all the way through and decide that yes, she is keeping Rossi from knowing all for good reasons, not selfish or high-handed ones. Until then, she argues. With herself. Taking different sides. She is strange, a little. Perhaps.

HEY. The baby tepes have some slight notion of ethics.

Uhm. They are working on it!

Hmmph. Don't be a hater just because they aren't the same as yours.

What's wrong with that line of ethical thinking? It's just as valid a philosophy. :p
