I've been trying to think of a discussion I could make for this community and I think I got it....

What powers do you see the Glee characters having if they were indeed mutants?

( my opinions behind cut.... would love to hear yours..... )

Seeing as I'm working on a Glee/X-Men Series I have put some thoughts into this lol.

In my head I've been toying with Puck having something with Invisibility and actually Shadowcats ability as well. It works well with his 'badassness' I suppose. Though I can also see him with Pyro's ability. with a touch of the healing factorRachel, originally I pictured her with Siryn/Banshee's power but than the more I thought about it, it would be too typical for her to have that. So other's I'd possibly see her with...I want to say something like Gambit's would be interesting. I can picture her accidentally causing things she's touched to explode when she first acquires the ability. Though honestly, I'd like to see her handle Collossus' metal skin ( ... )

I could see Puck with Pyro's powers... Can't quite see him with invisibilty... Oooo I could possibly see him with Mr. Fantastic's ability though... heh. ;D

I like the idea of Rachel with Colossus's powers, it'll be interesting how she'd handle Gambit's.

Cyke's power for Kurt - I'm oddly really liking that idea - even though it'll probably be torture for him.

I think Quinn & Emma Frost would have a conection - either their personalities would clash or it'll be friends for life... And yes I think Quinn could really do with an ability that protects hers and others from harm. Although truthfully, I could practically see her in any power - even Rogue's. Although as I'm looking through UXM spotlights, I want to say Ms Marvel's powers would be cool as well ( ... )

In my head I've seen Puck as having some sort of unconscious telecoersion, but he doesn't know he has it. He thinks that people sleep with him and give him money because he's badass, not knowing that he's manipulating them.

I tend to give Sam Warren Worthington's powers.

I personally like Kurt as an empath or a psychic. Rachel as with sonic pulses like Siryn.

Tina I like to make a shapeshifter.

I...can't make up my mind about the others right now.

(ALthough, I just wrote a mini-fic where Puck had Multiple Man's powers, and Quinn experienced the same baby!angst Siryn did. It was incredibly sad. That whole story arc was sad.)

Brittany I think of being part feline much like Rahne is part lupine.

I love the idea of Santana having super strength or a healing factor.

That's definitely an interesting quirk for powers for Puck - I could see that.

OMG totally love the idea of Sam with Archangel's powers!

I like the idea of Brittany being part feline, kinda fits her personality.

I could see Santana as being kinda X23/Wolverine-ish... Claws would be amazing for and very fitting, I think for her as would a healing factor.
