During the First Wizarding War, Death Eater Shaw kills Erik's Muggle parents, which makes Erik's magic manifest. Through Charles' persistence, the two of them become friends and grow up together, going through Voldemort's downfall, Charles' mother's remarriage, and the arrival of Raven together. When they both go to Hogwarts, Charles is sorted into Ravenclaw with Tony Stark, while Erik is sorted into Slytherin with Pepper Potts and Darwin. Erik is still obsessed with getting revenge on Shaw, but Charles manages to convince him to wait and train to be an Auror to catch him. They still hang out though, and after the arrival of Raven who is sorted into Gryffindor, they have a lot of adventures. During 4th year, there's a lot of hormonal mess, but in the end Erik and Charles stop their emotional constipation long enough to get together. During their 6th year, Harry Potter arrives, and the canon HP events begin to occur. When the Second War starts, Erik and Charles are both involved in the Order, but Erik also wants to hunt down Shaw, so Dumbledore recruits him to infiltrate the Death Eaters. By the end, Erik does get his revenge on Shaw, and he and Charles adopt a pair of twins, and Charles becomes the Muggle Studies professor at Hogwarts (and later headmaster), and Erik works as an Auror still.

Title: For I Mean To Conquer Troy
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men: First Class, with a smattering of other X-Men movieverse characters present
Type: Slash
Rating: M/NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Erik/Charles, Azazael/Raven, Hank/Alex, Sean/Cosmic Oneness
Warnings Drug Use, Allusions To Sexual Assault, Nonspecific Nasty Things Done To Minors, Psychic Bonding, Non-PC Religious References, Non-PC Ethnic References, Emotionally Crippled Erik , Alex Trollin’, Evil Ghosts of Nazi Sociopaths, Unnecessary Supernatural References, Unrealistic Medicine, Unrealistic Everything.
Summary: Set one year post movie, Charles overloads himself in Cerebro, and his mind goes walkabout; wherever he is (and he’s around), it’s not in his body. Erik temporarily takes over the school in his absence, and finds that there’s little time for resentment or hatred when he’s busy organizing assigned reading for English lit, keeping the youngest children out of trouble, and trying to talk Raven into wearing clothing for the boys’ sake. Somewhere in between taking responsibility for the students, and dreaming Charles’ dreams every night, he manages to remember that he’s something rather more than a weapon. There is also a preponderance of peonies. In short: A Love Story between two Gentlemen, told in Prose, Epistles, and Children’s Nonsense Rhymes.

Summary: (try to write 1-3 paragraphs)

"Do you ever wonder," Charles murmured, tracing the lines of Iskierka's wings, "why our daemons settled like they did?"

Erik tangled his hands in Aliyah's fur. "No," he said flatly. "Do you?"

The story of daemons, and intercision, and souls, and how a ridiculously soft, trusting, naive telepath named Charles had an eagle daemon, and how an idiotic, stupidly fearless martyr named Erik had a tiger, and how the world feared them for it.

Title: Real Knights Wear Hoodies
X-Men Verse(s): (include all that apply, if its a crossover include the crossed over fandoms) X-Men First Class
Type: (gen, slash or het) Slash
Rating: PG-13 or light R
Characters/Pairings: Sean/Alex, Erik/Charles
Warnings (sexual context, non-con, violence, strong language, characters death, ableism, etc - if there is anything in your fic potential artists should be warned about include it) Soft violence. Character death (nothing that didn't happen in the movie-- aka Shaw)
Summary: Modern day AU. No powers... for a while. Sean Cassidy has been plagued with dreams and visions of a sleeping Prince who's trapped in a faraway tower-- whose only hope is to be rescued by his Dragon. This would be fine-- only Sean works in a video rental store, lives in a crappy apartment, and has an unrequited love story with Alex Summers that the whole world knows about. He wears converse, listens to hipster music, and occasionally has asthma attacks. He's no hero. There's no such things as sleeping princes and dragons anyway... right? In other words, Sean saves the world while wearing a hoodie.

Title: Behind Blue Eyes (working title)
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class, X-Men : Wolverine (background)
Type: Slash
Rating: Mature
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik, Emma/Raven
Warnings dark imagery, reference to past sexual abuse, medical experiments/torture
Summary: Erik counts to three and moves the coin, but the consequences carry further than he expects. Charles is forced to experience Shaw's death, and the results aren't pretty.

Raven tries to keep the rest of the team from finding out, but Erik learns the truth soon enough: between his actions and the manner of Shaw's death, Charles' mind might be damaged. With Charles locked away in his own head, it's up to Erik to try and bring him back. But a familiar monster lurks in Charles' twisting mindscape, and it turns out that killing Shaw once might not have been enough.

Even once they escape Charles' mind, the damage to both of them is greater than they expected, and the road to healing may be a slow one. Fic includes telepathic dreamscapes, dark imagery, closure, and bonus Emma Frost.

#8
Title: Je Vois la Vie en Rose
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class
Type: Femslash
Rating: Mature
Characters/Pairings: Erika/Charlotte, Raven/Harriet and ensemble
Warnings: Violence and torture on the level of the movie, plus rape, forced pregnancy, murder of an infant and sexual assault, with period homophobia, misogyny and racism.
Summary: Je Vois la Vie en Rose is a full-cast gender change. Canon male characters become female, and canon female characters become male or genderqueer. The only exceptions are background military and CIA characters where a largely female cast would not appropriate for the 1960s.

The CIA's Marcus MacTaggert attempts to recruit newly-graduated Doctor Charlotte Xavier and her sibling Raven to assist in the capture of suspected Communist Sabrina Shaw and her unusual associates. Thrilled at the thought finding of more mutants, Charlotte and Raven agree, but are soon put off by the CIA's misogynist attitude and decide to track down these other mutants by themselves. They do find more mutants, but not the ones they were expecting: ferociously determined Nazi-hunter Erika Lehnsherr and overqualified, underworked CIA analyst Doctor Harriet McCoy are just two of the many mutants out there.

Charlotte starts to build a community of mutants but Raven finds that many of them can't even accept themselves, let alone someone who doesn't belong within familiar definitions of gender. Erika's determination to kill Shaw, Shaw's quest to recruit more mutants, and world-threatening political brinkmanship collide with deadly consequences: Charlotte, Raven and Erika must decide what kind of world it is that they want to create.

Title: It Takes A Village
X-Men Verse(s): XMFC
Type: Slash
Rating: NC17
Characters/Pairings: Erik/Charles (background Raven/Hank)
Warnings Offscreen, non-canon character death. Language.
Summary:
The Afflicted Shall Not Touch
The Afflicted Shall Not Knowingly Use Their Affliction

A village full of children live a suspended existence, their only protection three mysterious Elders that rule over them in all things. Erik and Charles, barely adults themselves, manage as best they can in a place full of secrets and whispers, nightmares and the ever-present threat of discovery.

AU based on The Village. (Knowledge of the source movie not required)

#10
Title: As yet untitled
X-Men Verse(s): (include all that apply, if its a crossover include the crossed over fandoms) Modern-XMFC/Arthurian Literature, specifically the poem Gawain and the Green Knight.
Type: (gen, slash or het) I'm not entirely sure, how non-sexy does it have to be to be gen? Mostly gen but there are romances and they are slash.
Rating: R
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik, minor Hank/Raven + Alex/Sean
Warnings (sexual context, non-con, violence, strong language, characters death, ableism, etc - if there is anything in your fic potential artists should be warned about include it) Quite a lot of stong language, some violence and gory type description.
Summary: (try to write 1-3 paragraphs) Maybe he was asking for it, bored and indifferent Charles Xavier. Maybe, by wishing for some new life, something better than the nothing he had, he had brought it on himself. The eerie Green Man with a jokers grin and the sharpest axe in the world. That supernatural thing that kept on laughing even when its head was hacked free of its body. An awful deal that seemed to spell out his death. To make himself feel better he took credit for the good parts too; the perfect jaw line of a crazed pawn shop owner named Erik Lensherr, a real friend, a best friend.
It’s wild and wicked bleeding jungles and a house that’s bigger on the inside and a broken girl named Moira and a breaking girl named Raven. It’s the Xavier Home for Troubled Youth and everything that goes with that. Some sort of twisted, half supernatural, no-powers AU where Charles is dropped into something he doesn’t understand and Erik charms his way into it with somewhat shady intentions.

#11
Title: Not Even Jail
X-Men Verse(s): First Class
Type: slow-burning slash, with a tiny bit of het implied.
Rating: No more than R.
Characters/Pairings: Alex/Sean, schoolboy!crush!Sean/Moira, Raven/Hank
Warnings Concepts relating to homophobia (and elements of segregation) in the early 1960s -- purely theoretical; discussion of faith-based ideology which may not always be flattering, based on the characters’ stances; mentions of sexual assault and death (non-graphic); the ill-informed imaginings of sheltered teenage boys.
Summary:
As a child, Sean Cassidy privately believed that he was awaiting some calling, an indescribable "Thing" which would sweep him away from the poverty of his grandparents’ crumbling former farm; something which would make him useful and prove wrong the teachers who called him lazy.

Days away from his eighteenth birthday, he is approached by two mysterious government agents at the aquarium where he works, and offered the chance to become a part of a project beyond anything he could have imagined. Suddenly, there are people his own age who are interested in what he has to say and share his fondness of popular culture. For the first time since he dropped out of school, he has friends. Desperate to impress, but ultimately happy, he is brought down to Earth with a devastating shock when Shaw and his cohorts attack the CIA compound they have been assigned to.

Terrified and out of his depth, he finds safety and comfort with Alex Summers, the one member of the group he’d initially been afraid to approach, forming a deep bond and vowing to look out for each other -- a promise they carry with them to their new base.

Between training and awaiting the outbreak of war, Sean slowly comes to realize that what he and Alex feel for each other is more than just a close friendship; but with a sheltered, Irish Catholic upbringing and the trauma of an institutionalized adolescence to contend with, they each struggle to understand where events are taking them.

As a realistic portrayal of the early 1960s social climate, Not Even Jail blends together the spaces between the familiar and the story of two young adults trying to find their way in a world that doesn't want them. As mutants, neither of them can ever be considered normal; but by that standard does it really matter just how abnormal either of them can be?

Title:Schwärzung Und Stahl
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class, X-Men (Comics)
Type: Gen
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Ensemble
Warnings sexual context, non-con, violence, strong language, character death, mutilation, torture
Summary: “This is getting ridiculous, Charles, utterly ridiculous. You’re amassing an army of people you could care less about, to break out a group of people that you barely care about. Why not just admit it’s all for your sister and be done with it?”

“Because it started out that way,” he answers, rubbing his temples in imitation of a great headache. His head does hurt, it’s true, but it’s more because of the feeling of hot knives being shoved into his powers than because of any actual physical pain. “It started out that all I wanted to do was get my sister. She’s hurting, Erik, all the time. And then I got in contact with a telepath in there, her name is Emma, and she started telling me about everyone... I can’t help it.”

Title: Pulling at the Loose Threads
X-Men Verse(s): X men first class; X men movies
Type: Gen, slash and het
Rating: PG-13/R
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik (main focus); Charles/Jean; Erik/Raven; Jean/Scott (implied), Logan, Hank, Emma, and other minor characters
Warnings character death, disturbing themes (non consensual power supression), homophobia, mutant prejudice, implied child abuse/violence, language, mild sexual content involving minors, bullying, British English (not a warning as such - just thought it was worthwhile letting people know!)
Summary: (try to write 1-3 paragraphs)
AU - A coming of age story loosely inspired by Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go.
At 10 years old Charles Xavier is pulled out of his life and sent away to boarding school. Run by Headmaster Shaw and his Guardians, Stoneybrook is a 'special' school full of tradition, rules and strange rituals.
Charles loves it. Free of Westchester, he is in his element and has friends for the first time in his life.
After a stint in the Reflection Room, Charles meets difficult loner, Erik Lehnsherr and finds himself hopelessly drawn into Erik's world. As they grow closer, Erik becomes convinced that there is something sinister going on at Stoneybrook and is determined to find out the truth about the school and their pasts - whatever the cost.

Title: Zweiundachtzig (Eighty-Two)
X-Men Verse(s): First Class with mentions of Comic characters.
Type: Slash
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik, light hinting at Hank/Alex, Raven/Azazel, Angel/Janos
Warnings Sexual context, violence, strong language, light ableism, light xenophobia
Summary: Modern AU. Erik M. Lehnsherr is a private man, a jeweler that’s just looking for a studio so he can do his work. But floorspace in New York is limited, so he ends up sharing a space with a painter and shapeshifter named Raven. Above them is a huge furry blue physicist, i.e. Mad scientist, and a glassblower that breaks half of what he makes when he starts laughing.

Drawn into their intricacies, Erik finds himself not only with friends but something that’s starting to frighteningly resemble a family. Then enter one, Charles Xavier; geneticist, lecturer, telepath, mutant rights activist, and Raven’s brother. Suddenly Erik is faced with dealing with a past he’s trying to forget and feelings he’s never had before.

X-Men Verse(s): AU as of the end of X3
Type: (gen, slash or het) Het
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Logan/Marie
Warnings Graphic sexual content; language
Summary: Marie was adjusting just fine after she decided not to take the cure after all. Life began to move on, even when Xavier, Jean and Scott were discovered to be alive. Logan still stuck around, helping out at the school and with the X-Men. A freak accident during a mission should have been the death of either of them; Logan from her mutation, or Marie from falling to her death. Fate intervened and both survived. Now, Logan is the only person, mutant or not, who can touch Marie without any issues. But it does cause some issues. Marie is still in love with Logan. Tired of her avoidance, Logan forces her to face him and it leads to a night of passion. Now Logan has left, and Marie finds herself facing something she never thought would happen. She's having Logan's child.

Title: The Prodigal Son
X-Men Verse(s): XMFC with a heavy Comic influence.
Type: Slash
Rating: Teen
Characters/Pairings: Erik/Charles, Hank/Alex, Raven/Warren
Warnings Mpreg, mild violence, occasional language
Summary:
Realistically, Charles knew it was the least advantageous moment to suddenly remember his impending fatherhood. The Americans and Russians were moments away from inciting a new world war, and likewise, Erik himself seemed a split second from turning humanity against mutants forever. But the words were there without his permission, spilling from his lips in a desperate attempt to save Erik from his own madness, and Charles from the inevitable grief that would follow. So he said it. He shouted it. In one felled swoop he told Erik about the life growing inside of him. It was ridiculous and unbelievable and frightening, and Charles had done his best to ignore it up until that moment. But then, with the missiles moments away from destroying so many human lives, Charles recognized the life inside him for what it was. Grasping at straws he told Erik they'd created a child. There was a baby to consider now, equal parts theirs. Pretending the baby was anything but, was no longer an option.

#17
Title: The Persistence of Memory
X-Men Verses: X-Men:First Class, comics (for Black Widow)
Type: femslash
Rating: PG
Characters/Pairings: Moira MacTaggert, Emma Frost, Black Widow
Warnings sixties-era misogyny, James Bond levels of violence and torture
Summary: After Cuba, Moira is left with no memories and a career in tatters. She should know better than to engage with another telepath, but the opportunity to reclaim her life is too great a temptation. When Magneto and his new Brotherhood attack, Moira offers their target, Emma Frost, another option. She is surprised to find that Emma has an agenda of her own: to find and stop the scientists responsible for Shaw's anti-telepathic helmet.

This tentative alliance becomes a frantic dash across Europe with the USSR's best agent on their heels. Car chases, lipstick cameras, midnight journeys to Moscow, brainwashing and fighting on top of trains: can a disgraced spy and a vigilante telepath stop world powers from exploiting mutants again?

Title: Our Butterfly Kingdom (I've changed it multiple times, so this might not be the final title)
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class, mainly, but I've done some canon-blending with the graphic novels and the first three movies as well
Type: Primarily slash
Rating: Depending on the system, MA or NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik (there are a bunch of background pairings of all types too, but they don't feature very prominently)
Warnings This originally started as a fill for a BDSM prompt on the kink meme, so there are some mild elements of that (restraints, candle wax, gun play, breath play and spanking, namely), but nothing too extreme. Some swearing does happen, of course, but not much either.
Summary:
It's 1962, and Charles Xavier is not as satisfied with the way his life has turned out as he wants to be and only slightly better at controlling his powers than the magnetic mutant he soon meets. As his relationship with Erik Lehnsherr develops and intensifies, the mental bond between them grows stronger, and it's easier to slip, easier to take certain liberties. Eventually, Charles realizes that Erik will leave him someday, but he can't bring himself to force Erik to stay, and although a part of him longs to change Erik's mind, everything he does only seems to make things worse.

Following their parting on the beach, they continue struggling with their feelings for each other despite their disagreements and their knack for worsening their relationship. Twenty years later, following the discovery of the "cure," Charles goes to find a depowered Erik and finally asks him to come home with him. Erik agrees, saying that had he known things would turn out this way regardless, he never would have left.

The next time Erik wakes up, they are back at Westchester in 1962, and he is angered to realize that Charles has shown him a dream to manipulate him. However, Charles has no recollection of anything Erik has seen and denies that he has done anything. Just then, a blind brunette knocks on the door asking for Raven. Which is the true reality, does it matter and will either possibility change anything?

Title: No Direction Home
X-Men Verse(s): movieverse, specifically Origins: Wolverine and X1. It also loosely draws on some comics events, though it requires no knowledge of comics to read; I've just cannibalized certain pieces of comics story arcs and incorporated them into the plot of my fic.
Type: (gen, slash or het) slash and het
Rating: R
Characters/Pairings: Logan/Remy LeBeau, Logan/Mariko, Remy/assorted ladies (you know how he is)
Warnings Oh boy. Let's call it R-rated consensual sex, PG-13 violence, R-rated language, the deaths of a few minor characters, and non-explicit discussion of child homelessness and domestic abuse (meaning those things happen and are alluded to, but not heavily incorporated into the narrative).
Summary: This story follows Remy and Logan in alternating chapters, spanning the fifteen years between Origins and X1. It begins about halfway through Origins: Wolverine, including a one night stand Logan has with Remy in New Orleans before they leave for the Island. It then follows Logan immediately after the film's ending. He has nothing, not even his full name. How does he make his way in the world? He ends up in Japan where he trains with the Silver Samurai and faces the loss of his love, Mariko.

Meanwhile, Remy gets into some trouble with the Assassins Guild and is forced to leave New Orleans. He travels the world as a master thief. In Kenya, he crosses paths with Ororo Munroe and Charles Xavier, but he declines the invitation to come to New York with them. Instead, he travels on to Japan, where he helps Logan out of a jam (and returns his leather jacket).

Logan returns to Canada and makes his living as a cage fighter. Remy takes on a commission from the wrong client and ends up running to New York, seeking asylum with Charles Xavier. He stays on at the school, teaching physical education and combat. He joins the X-Men, despite Scott's misgivings. Xavier sends Gambit and Storm to bring Logan and Rogue back to the school after Sabretooth's attack, and Remy and Logan begin to rebuild their relationship. Remy and Xavier try to help restore Logan's memories, and Remy persuades Logan to stick around the school.

Title: "Heart of Stone"
X-Men Verse(s): XMFC
Type: slash, action-adventure, romance
Rating: NC17
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik
Warnings Explicit m/m sex. Some violence, non-graphic. Not ableist per se but the villain is disdainful of Charles' paralysis, which plays on Charles' own difficulties coping, and even humiliates Charles as "helpless." Ultimately, though, Charles is instrumental in defeating the villain and fully demonstrated to be neither helpless nor sexless.
Summary:

Erik and Charles encounter one another again -- for the first time since their parting on the beach five years previously -- at a conference about genetic mutation. Erik's resolution to lie low and avoid notice by his former lover is wrecked when Charles speaks at the conference and becomes the first mutant to publicly acknowledge his powers. Although Erik thinks that's reckless in the extreme -- he also thinks it's extraordinarily brave. His admiration of that bravery leads them to talk again. Their strained conversation nonetheless reveal all the longing the years and differences between them haven't erased.

Just when Erik thinks he can endure the tension no longer, the conference is violently interrupted by a band of marauding mutants who claim they want power for their people -- but who actually are perpetrating a mysterious theft. Yes, it's the Die Hard/XMFC pastiche you've been waiting for! Charles is a prisoner, which means Erik can't just walk away. They work together to defeat the hostage-takers, and despite their best efforts at remaining objective, the crisis brings Charles and Erik closer again --

Fun visuals: The glamorous San Francisco hotel where the drama takes place, complete with massive 60s-style mobiles that Erik will use as weapons! The evil mutants, which include Sandstorm (big, blocky, gritty), Widow and Recluse (twin sisters with spider powers and witchy dresses) and Spartan (hot blond guy in short toga who throws flaming projectiles)! Erik doing crazy brave things like leaping from a hotel balcony to levitate down the side of a skyscraper! Fabulous gemstones hidden within Aztec statuary! And of course our heroes kissing.

Title: City of the Dead (may be subject to change)
X-Men Verse(s): (include all that apply, if its a crossover include the crossed over fandoms) X-Men: First Class with guest appearances from other X-Men canon characters, The Mummy fusion.
Type: (gen, slash or het) slash
Rating: R
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik
Warnings sexual content, minor language.
Summary: The Mummy fusion! Erik is a former member of the French Foreign Legion, saved from the noose by Charles Xavier and his treasure-hunting sister, Raven. In return, he agrees to help Charles locate the Book of Amun-Ra, said to be hidden in the legendary city of Hamunaptra. Meanwhile, Sebastian Shaw and his team of ruthless treasure seekers also find their way to the lost city with the help of Remy LeBeau, an old war comrade of Erik's. Digs are sabotaged and Charles's lifelong dream of finding the famous book seems ruined when Shaw frames Erik for an archaeology crime he did not commit.

Title: a curious carriage of crystal and cold
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class
Type: slash
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik; most of the characters in the XMFC movie
Warnings: non-explicit violence, reference to genocide and war crimes, moderate amounts of swearing
Summary: Charles has lived, all his life, in a tiny mining village in one of the poverty-stricken regions of the planet Eisen. He has more than enough on his plate, making a living for himself and his sister ever since an epidemic killed their parents. It's hard to care about distant wars and political squabblings and even the strange manifestation-sickness that was affecting mutants elsewhere when one is thoroughly occupied with putting food on the table. Even when one happens to be a telepath.

Until Charles inadvertently saved the life of Erik Lehnsherr, scion of a successful business family and the richest man on Eisen. A connection formed between them, despite a mutual inability to speak in full sentences, Erik's foul-mouthed bodyguard, and unexpected assassins. Also, Erik has no idea why the lights flicker and doors slide open and tools vibrate when he gets emotional.
Then the two of them go and fall in love, and life gets a lot more complicated.
(A sci-fi fairy tale.)

Title: Lab Rats and Tin Soldiers
X-Men Verse(s): X-Men First Class/Captain America: First Avanger
Type: (gen, slash or het)slash
Rating:R
Characters/Pairings: Erik Lehnsherr, Steve Rodgers/Bucky Barnes, Peggy Carter, Howard Stark
Warnings canon character death, some language, some mild Holocaust imagery, sexual content, period compliant light misogyny(Howard Stark)
Summary:Doktor Karl Scmidt(Sesbastian Shaw) worked closely with other Nazi scientists such as Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull. It is in his care that the Doktor leaves Erik for further "experiments" and "training" when he cannot continue the work personally. Being in the grip of the Nazi's nightmare subdivision, HYDRA, puts Erik in place to be found by a recently made Captain America on his first rescue mission. Now instead of being trapped by his tormentors, Erik finds himself cared for by a different sort of human in the forms of Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, and Steve Rogers as he discovers his powers and himself.

Title: Well Kept Boy
X-Men Verse(s): Comic and Movie verse. Nicks a few characters
from other fandoms: Castle, CSI, SGA, etc.
Type: Slash
Rating: NC-17
Characters/Pairings: Charles Xavier/Erik Lensherr
Warnings Sexual content, Violence, semi under-age, AU, slavery, companions
Summary: Being helped into the car was somewhat humiliating, but Charles could live with that. He did, in any case, and accepted the help he needed getting out as well, transferring to his new wheelchair. There were pills in his pocket, pills he needed, but he wasn't going to take them. Not yet, not until they had things straightened out, had Erik safely where he should be.

Part of him just expected that Erik would be there, waiting for him to see. He knew what Erik looked like when he was hale and hearty, had a relatively recent picture of him. Benefactors weren't supposed to see their Companions except in pictures until they Went Home, but neither were Companions supposed to be shipped off to service status.

Type: Slash
Rating: Explicit
Characters/Pairings: Charles/Erik
Warnings: underage (17), teacher/student relationship, sexual context, mild child abuse, strong language, anti-Semitism, sexism, homophobia
Summary:
(nonmutant AU) Charles Xavier- rich, introverted, and academic- begins his senior year of high school in 1962. Erik Lehnsherr, despite his own efforts, is the first person to properly reach out to him. Both are astonished to find a human being on the other side.

He still had those sharp cheekbones and those weird stony eyes and neatly parted hair. The line of his mouth when someone asked a stupid question remained unchanged. Yet Xavier caught himself watching the man's hand as Lehnsherr wrote down a formula on the board, wondering where it had been. He'd never known someone before finding out they were queer. It was- startling, actually. Lehnsherr didn't look like a fag.

But then again, neither did he.
