X-Men Fandom: XMFC mixed with with Prometheus in a Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex AU

What I Like About the Story: I finally have all the characters in position, and I can sort of see how this is all going to come down in the endgame. I'm still amused that I managed to drop in several references to the Avengers, and I might try to catch at least one more. Happy about the convergence of some of my favorite kinks. Epic snarking matches - which I hope will be funny because I never know how to write humorous dialogue.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: Writing in fits and starts this week; been trying to catch up with daily quotas, but work keeps getting in the way. Worried about how long this thing will get and how long it will take to beta.

Anything Else: Just life kicking me in the chest with things, but I seem to be doing okay. I am pretty good with people who will look at my things.

What I Like About the Story: finally made it to the dead body! *g* And there was a kiss! Granted, it was only a tiny one, and now one of the involved parties has vanished to angst about (amongst othet things), but it did happen! I made it to actual Plot Points!
What I Don’t Like About the Story: It's turning out to be longer than even I might have anticipated. Which is not in itself a bad thing, just somewhat daunting, thinking about how far there still is to go. Especially when you also factor in just how much editing I already know is going to be required...
Anything Else: Am surprised that I'm still managing to keep up the good progress now that work has turned crazy. Although there's still time for that to start having an effect... Also, really going to need to find a beta at some point...
