Charles/Erik, Soulmate AU

Everybody in the world is born with the name of their soulmate written on their arm. Erik's soul seeking name was erased by Shaw and replaced with numbers when he went into the camps, and he buries the whole experience and the name deep into his subconscious.
Charles had his soulmates' name altered into a girl's name as a baby, because his parents were upset that there was a boy's name on his arm and preferred a psychologically messed up and deeply unhappy son over a gay one.
So one day Charles and Erik meet, and feelings happen, only Erik surpresses it and Charles is like, "No, why is this happening, I'm ment to be with a girl."

So sad! Totally second this prompt.
Maybe Erik's birth name was Maxim Eisenhardt (and his parents changed it during the war when they were trying to escape Germany?) and Charles' parents changed it to Maxine?

I may have written some drabble for this and I may be considering turning it into something post-able.
But I have a couple questions for you, op, if someone - not me - was considering filling your prompt would you like it to be a powered AU? And would you object and/or be completely horrified to a potential writer - not me - combining your prompt with another?

This is all hypothetical, of course.
