Charles/Erik - zombie apocalypse, contact with zombie minds horrific for telepaths, h/c anonymous October 26 2011, 00:55:34 UTC

Realistically, Erik would have no trouble dealing with a zombie threat - but he has to sleep sometime, and it's then that Charles has to keep them safe by driving the zombies away. However, reaching out to zombie minds is horrific and draining and the more Charles does it the more mental anguish it causes him. Despite Charles' insistence that he's fine, Erik tries to minimize his discomfort by sacrificing his own sleep and finding more remote places to stay, but for whatever reason (rescue attempts, research, supplies, etc) they can't get away that easily and Erik is getting tired of watching the one person he cares about slowly fade away before his eyes.

It can be post- or pre-divorce, any kind of zombies you want, sex or no sex - I just need this like burning. D:

I am so on this, anon, but I am going to say that this fic is already spinning wildly out of control (I've written five pages so far tonight and Erik and Charles haven't even met yet, lol), so it might be a while until I have anything to post...

I love this idea!

YES ALL OF THE THINGS, this is amazing and people coming in through this prompt should know that this is amazing! I would like to roll all over this fill and never leave! So detailed and such an intense loneliness. :o

Yeah. I was just about to spend my weekend reading up on this fill and turns out the journal was deleted. I should have read it when I had the chance.
