There should be a HDM au of everything.

I can't be the only one who wants this.

I even know what Charles' and Erik's daemons are!

Charles: lioness
Erik: she-wolf

Raven would be some sort of snake, and Moira would be a dog. What would the other daemon's be? Or hey, make it a five times fic, five times that characters were sure they knew what their daemon would settle as but were wrong (and the one time they knew and were right).

I don't care. Just give me Charles and Erik and daemon touching.

For some reason, I immediately pictured Raven's daemon as Pascal the Chameleon, from Tangled XD

I know that that is what most people assume when they think of Raven's daemon, but I really can't see it. Raven/Mystique is strong, majestic, and in control of herself, and she's not so much (in my opinion) blending into her surroundings as shedding her skin.

But that's just me >_>

Hmm, you know, I briefly considered when posting this that mutant's daemons don't settle at all. I mean, they are technically a higher life form, stands to reason their daemons would be able to do more.

Just a short start, but I do plan for dæmon-touching pr0nz later on. I know some Pullman purists might object to a dog dæmon when Erik’s not a servant, but I was going to have Charles and Erik discuss that particular choice later on so hear me out then. And if you’re curious, Erik’s daemon’s name is a contraction of two Jewish names meaning “victorious” and “avenged” while Charles’ is a bastardisation of an Old English prefix meaning “wealth”. Because if I try to make up fantasy words they come out sounding silly, and plus I’m a dork who likes to Google baby names.
