I don't even ship Charles/Raven but this is really good! I do love Raven though and it's always nice to see her get a little character development. Authoranon, give yourself some credit! This is a great fill so far.

This is so incredible, anon. There is nowhere near enough Charles/Raven and this is so gooood. I love their the way you've drawn their relationship, full of concern and affection and bumps and resentments and stupid misunderstandings and friction and all the details that tell of time of life together, the way they know each other so well, but still surprise each other. The whole sequence with the lockpick was delightful.

They just...they really feel like they've been close for a long time, in the awkward-imperfect-wonderful way, like real siblings that could have been but with a little not-biological leeway for them to toy with romantic gestures and UST. The whole section with the 'darling-in-public' game was simply lovely, it really felt like them having fun, and also tentatively connecting that way within the safety and deniability of joking, especially for Charles. It seemed so natural and playful and sklgnslkngs the point is it was awesome.

TRACKING THIS LIKE A BOSS, and thank you so much for writing it. <3

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I got emotional when I read this. Your reactions were exactly what I was hoping for and your taking the time to respond to my random little story means so much to me. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having neglecting the rest of my real life to complete it.

They should have taken a cab. Charles was reciting dirty limericks at the top of his voice (and lord knows where he had even learned most of them) and kept stumbling over his own feet. After the third time she’d had to pull him out of the gutter and right around the tenth chorus of “There was an old man from. . .” Raven suggested they get that taxi. The trip was much faster from there on out but she still had to wrap an arm around his waist and teach him to walk in synchronized steps with her to get them up the short flight of stairs ( ... )
