As much as I love to see Charles/Shaw getting some love around here it makes me sad that no one writes it without the story eventually ending up Charles/Erik.

Maybe Charles turns evil, Shaw turns good, Erik's straight -- whatever reason, but Charles and Erik don't get together in the end and somehow Charles/Shaw works out. Can even be darkfic if you want.

I didn't know I needed this until I read this promptThe bouncer at the door gave him a reverent nod. Charles ducked under the thin cord that separated the queue from the late-night pedestrians; most of them were attached or signalling taxis at this time of night, but the entrance to Hellfire was still streaming like an uncorked bottle. For a moment Charles was jostled between a clutch of top-heavy ladies with primped hair and a pair of up-and-comings flashing more cash in their cufflinks than they likely spent on their month's rent. Then someone recognised him and the up-and-comings stepped back quickly, one of them herding the ladies to the side so he could pass. He nodded to the man and headed up the stairs to the inner sanctuary of the club ( ... )

The interaction between Charles and Shaw is just....just.........*bows in silence*

This is amazing. You've got them SPOT ON. This is....wow.

Okay. Now I'm tempted to ship the two of them. Perhaps. Thank you for the great work!

Hurrah, thank you! I, like Shaw, intend to remake the world in my image. An image of Charles/Shaw shippers ruling the fandom with an iron fist*!
*but not a real iron fist because that would make us vulnerable to Cherik shippers.

Thought that doesn't sound nearly as dangerous.

But why can Shaw/Charles and Cherik (and Erik/Shaw because seriously unf) not coexist in peace?
We could have garden parties. I think it would be quite lovely.

Yes, they will all live in the mansion and Erik and Shaw will snark and compete for world domination and occasionally try to murder eah other, and then have hatesex whenever Charles is away, but then he'll come back and be all like, "My friends! Why do you fight? We all love each other." And Erik will reply "threesomes were never an option" but in that he will be quite wrong.

I have no idea why I love this pairing so much. IT'S SO WRONG. And also, Nazis.
