She was going to let it get to her was his worry. She was going to take being a Vampire to heart and neglect the things she held most important to herself when she was alive- this never had to be the case. But it made Magnus feel an emotion that was rare, and hardly kept itself in his vocabulary- frustrated

All that bloody effort and the bitch goes and fucking disappeares.
He'd given up that night until his scent caught something... strange.
It was her, her smell but it lingered from a vampire.
Curtus watched from down the block. he'd seen him before, yes he knew this one.
The scientist.
The loner.
Her lover.
Curtus snarled slightly at the thought as he picked up the pace.
"Lovely night for a stroll, isn't it?" A tricky grin touched his lips as Curtus walked faster to catch up with the vampire.
He'd have fun taunting him. Hell the blood sucker didn't know He was the one who'd made Loraine.
But he'd find out soon enough.

If Magnus could tell something from the smell, it was a Lycan. That smell that struck his nose like a disease entering a circulatory system, attempting to find a way to kill you.
Luckily, Magnus was already dead. "What do you want, dog? I'm not in the mood to hassle with one of your kind." The words were accompanied with a low growl. If the vampire had been in a better mood, now would be the time he would be throwing out random, sarcastic jokes, but obviously that wasn't an option in his current position.
Or, maybe it was. "It's always a pleasure to make your aquaintance, though. Hell, after I killed a couple of you, it's ten times as wonderful- I can always grin at that thought." A cold eye took a glance at the creature that had bothered him tonight.
"Is there a particular reason you have decided to grace me with your wet dog stentch, or did you just decide it was a good night to pick on a vampire?"

He doesn't know. HA!
"A reason? Come now. Do I need one?? I'm surprized, normally your kind lashes out at anything with a heartbeat before opening their damned mouths. I always seemed to caugh it up to jealousy, but tonight I'm not here to... torment you as you think."
Curtus smiled as he remembered Dave.
This was the one that bested the runt. Hmm...
"I guess in a way I should be thanking you for a few things. Afterall, it is you who stopped Dave from aquiring Ms. Coyle shedding some light onto his weak resolve." He let the words hang in the air, excited for the vampire's reaction.

"Of course you need one. One of your pathetic level does even deserve to approach me. And if you haven't noticed," the vampire tapped his own chest, "I don't have a fucking heartbeat."
He sped up his pace and he began to walk away, fiddling with the simple liquid silver in his pocket.
But he had stopped at the word 'Coyle', and had turned on the heel of his foot to face the werewolf, a dangerous glare in his eye.
"So you want to fuck with me about my girlfriend? What fucking business do you have in that?" Quick steps took Magnus towards Curtus, and within seconds icy blue eyes were staring into deep brown ones, furious, Magnus' heavy frame less than an inch away from Delvin's. "What makes you think you even fucking deserve to MUTTER her fucking name? Dave was as worthless as any of your kind. I hope he died a very painful death, just like you will if you don't back. Down." The growl was almost unnoticeable as it formed in Magnus' throat, but the mention of Loraine sprung emotions as true and thick as a untouched ( ... )
