I woke up to the bright light shining through my window, I hated the sun here. Even though I logically realized that the sun was no different in Seoul as it was in Mokpo, logic had nothing to do with how much I hated this new town.
Everything was so crowed here, I feel like I’m suffocating.
I know I had agreed to move here, I wanted to get away from my past. There was just something about this place I hated.
I decided I should make the best of it; I wasn’t going to be able to do anything about where we were now living so why should I waste my energy complaining about it?
So I went to go take a shower and get ready for the day. When I was completely done and after I finished eating I told my mother I was going to go explore the city. There had to be something fun I could do here.
I walked around for a while but nothing seemed to catch my attention for very long. This place was very different from Mokpo; everything here seemed to move too fast.
I lost track of where I was heading and I just allowed my feet to carry me in any direction they felt like going.
Eventually they led me to a small field at the border of the city, hidden away from the busy movement of all the people. I instantly loved it here, it felt like home.
As I explored the little field I saw a giant tree, that’s limbs seemed to sweep out in every direction. I ran to it, there was something so familiar about that tree, something so important but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
I lay down under its shade and looked up at the sky. I tried to find shapes in the clouds and got a giant rush of déjà vu. It felt like I had been here before, like I had done this before, but something felt like it was missing. Like there was something I was supposed to remember, something very important.
I decided not to think about it when my head started to hurt. I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep.
Maybe this town wouldn’t be so bad after all, at least when I’m in this field I feel like I’m home.
A/N: okay, this is the end, do you hate it? I really hate the first part of this chapter but I like the ending.
I was going to write this yesterday but Super Junior M’s MV came out and I lost devoted an entire day to watching that, but how can you blame me, did you see it?
Everybody voted for me to write a sequel, so don’t worry I will get right on it. I promise I won’t make you wait too long for it :D
Just in case you were wondering: if you didn’t want me to write a sequel this would have ended differently. The doppelganger guy would have taken Donghae back to the night of the prom and Donghae would have ran in the rain to stop Hyukjae from getting into a car accident, and this story would have continued instead of making a sequel.
I really liked both of those ending so I really am thankful to everyone who voted. Because of you I didn’t have to pick the ending, and I’m sorry if you voted for a sequel and now you think the other ending sounds better.
Thank you so much to everyone who has read this fic <3 I love you all so much and I’m just really happy that you liked it. This is the first fic I ever wrote and I’m glad that so many of you enjoyed it (at least I hope you enjoyed it)
Seriously though, thank you all so much for the support, because of you I was able to actually finish it <3 and don’t worry the sequel is on its way.
Oh yeah, if you have any suggestions for the title of the sequel feel free to tell me. I hate writing title’s and summary’s, I’m really bad at it XD I’m thinking of calling it Finding You Again. I don’t know. If you have a better name for it feel free to tell me and I might just use it :D
Okay, I love you all
Bye bye
