hmm ... maybe u have spyware/adware on ur computer. that usually causes pop-up's.
u should do a scan maybe

try stopzilla you can get it @ http://www.stopzilla.com you have to pay for it after 15 days though

thanks, i'll give it a try. but what if it comes up with nothing like it usually does? it scans itself automatically every few days and nothing's shown up the last time it did.
