So, I was going to review Fringe today instead of Pretty Handsome because nikkiwawa79 asked me too. I spliced up Fringe for YouTube, zipped it up for Megaupload, set things to go and went to bed. I heard something on NPR while driving home about one of the big media companies suing the pants off Google for copyright violations. They must already be cracking down, darn it.

I totally understand them doing it but if they aren't going to make things available for people on their website, then what do they expect? They need to either move with the times, get up to speed, or allow people to distribute things with the knowledge that most people will watch the shows or at least, support advertising through YouTube and Google video, which they could go for a portion of.

I know they are really cracking down on fanvids which just amazes me. I know so many people who discovered Buffy and Angel through musicvids on YouTube and then bought the DVDs. I don't know why any network would take issue with free publicity like that.
