Oh, that was very good, Kelly. So creepy, sad and sexy. I could just imagine Kendall eyeing him up for his net worth, playing him like a ukulele, and then thinking he was a Hughes nutcake once he told her the truth. I imagine her next plan was to marry him and have him killed. Man, I bet she'd be shocked when he didn't actually die. :) Excellent!!

My poor Angel. I always seem to write him post-You're Welcome as totally creepy and desperate without Cordelia around. But someone turns out the sun, kills off your humanity, well, the whole Wolfram and Hart suicide mission makes a lot of sense if you have nothing to live for.

OMG! I'd love to see that as a sequel!! And then, after that, Angel goes crazy and turns her! :D It'd be a great series ;) So much potential!

Wow...This was exactly what I wanted. EXACTLY. Angel insisting it's Cordelia against all reason.

And Kendall not giving a fuck about his issues or feelings or anything but his money. Which he doesn't have.

And yet, he knows it's not her at the same time which is why he fakes being rich..

And they are both so perfectly desperate in their own ways.

I have this super hard on for Angel post-Cordelia as this completely destroyed...thing. She was the first one to really love him unconditionally, for everything he was. She was his first real friend. She was the first one to really be allowed in, where he could be honest. If he lost her, I think it would just ruin him. I think he would go insane. I totally think that losing Cordy is the whole reason he was ready to die in End of Days and why he took on Wolfram and Hart in NFA.

I have another...more explicit fic in which Angel goes to a shapeshifter if you want that one as well.

I do have this outline for a post-NFA fic that finds Angel alive (but not really living) in Paris. It's just hard to write a depressed crazy Angel for that long which is why I never started it.
