C/A Drabble fo CA_At Last

She made him a promise. Sitting on that couch in her apartment. She promised him that she would be there until the end.
This was the end. She was gone.
Everything was gone. His family. His friends. His chance at redemption. Half of L.A.
He lost. He lost it all. And for what? The battle was never over.
He only wished he had the strength to go on. Or to end it.
She was his heart. His light. His sunshine in the darkness. He wanted to embrace the coming dawn, to feel the heat, and to pretend it was her.
