Really the cast was just so pitch perfect, and I have seen it a number of times with a number of people. I just really wish more people enjoyed it. Most people seemed to shy away because of the subject matter.

I understand that. People are always so shy about things of that matter and never seem to want to discuss it or talk about it, but I'm not and I think it's something that should certainly be addressed all the time. I watched it alone though.

I would have gone with Lonesome Dove.

I actually have never seen Lonesome Dove. I'm not much on Westerns in general so I wasn't interested. But I might check it out cause well, you're awesome and you have good taste.

I should grab The Thornbirds at some point. There's no reason in the world I wouldn't love it. It basically hits all my kinks.

Angels in America breaks my heart. I've only ever watched it all the way through once cause I feel waaaay to depressed afterwards. I usually have to go watch something stupid like Tiny Toons afterwards to cheer myself up. But I do love it.

I DO THE SAME THING!

Honest to god, it guts me so bad, I have to watch something lighter to get me over it. But it's the good kind of gutting. A sign of a great work of art.

It really is a beautiful piece of performance, but I just cannot handle it more than one every few years.
