So much word, bb. On both VM and Ats accounts. Rob could have took VM to another level without changing so much. I don't know what the heck happened. Do you think the CW got to him? Told him a few things? The execs always love to get all up in the business and sometimes force showrunners in a direction they didn't plan. I've always wondered if that was the reason for the wtfuckery in S3.
I wish I knew. I really do. I don't know to be honest but it's so different from the VM we all know and love. I wonder if the transition to college was just too hard for RT to write?
I so agree. I bought the all 3 seasons of VM and I couldn't stop watching the first 2. Then, when I got to s3 I was like "what is this?". It took me forever to get through s3 because my interest started to fall.... greatly.
I have this thing where I have to own all seasons of a tv show if I own the first season. I still haven't bought S3 of VM. Every time it comes up to complete the collection, I'm like I can justify paying that much for it when I know it will sit in plastic wrap.
Yeah, I remember seeing it on sale for $18 at Target, and thinking it was too much...in the end I did buy it more than half off and with a gift card (because of the wanting to have the full set tendency), but now I think I regret it (even if I wasn't spending any of my own money at least)...it had a few good episodes, but otherwise total dreck, everything you say, and I prefer to just pretend season 3 never happened and that the show ended in season 2. *sigh*
