Well, generally in my experience, the HLA tends to be more of the stylized Vivid-porn kind of a stuff. Us gay/bi ladies usually like a little more steak with our sizzle, know what I'm saying? LOL And Seeker delivers that steak, Grade A quality.
idk, I take what I can get anymore. And to be honest, I haven't really noticed the "steak" - maybe more subtext, probably due to the number of awesome women on the show now, but nothing truly...meaty.
True, you pretty much have to take what you can get anymore when it comes to femslash. You've got an awesome gay male couple on Modern Family but where are the lesbians at?
I guess compared to the little elsewhere, the bits of "subtext" and outright text like in Marked seem more substantial than they are?
However, I do have to disagree with you about your take on the angst of the Buffy/Angel relationship. Richard and Kahlan are separated purely in the physical aspect. Buffy and Angel's situation was more complicated. It wasn't necessarily just sex that kept them apart, it was happiness. Angel couldn't truly be happy. EVER. So if he relaxed just a little too much around Buffy... boom! No soul. They hinted at this many times throughout the show. It wasn't a straightforward "no sex clause" like Richard and Kahlan. Plus, there was the whole immortal/human issue thing with them, and other problems...blah blah blah. It really led to more than just sexual tension, but a tension where you could never really relax around each other and just BE. R/K have a lot more allowances than B/A so their relationship is (obviously) less angsty.
Sorry to ramble, but I just HAD to say that! :)
(And I totally agree on the fandom part! It's really just pure fun without the drama. AWESOME!)
Everyone is entitled to their opinions and interpretation of canon and really, I've been in the BTVS fandom for so long, that I'm not really wanting to debate the B/A relationship for the 10000x time, especially on a picspam about Legend of the Seeker.
I get that you HAD to say it but again, LOTS picspam and there are like 50 million other places where the B/A relationship has been scruntized and picked apart. I threw that in there as a similar example in what was supposed to be a fun, cheesy picspam.
Yeah but I didn't even mention them by name. I mean, Angel couldn't have sexy tiems with Darla or Cordelia either. Faith couldn't have sexy tiems with Buffy (even if the subtext was that she really, really wanted to). I just said when two characters can't be together, there's angst in the BTVS fandom. :)

The only character I didn't like was that little Ginger Kid in Listener. I kind of wanted to drop kick him.
Darken Rahl's Arms need their own Emmy category. Best Arms in a Series. Craig Parker!
