Ted's hometown is Marquette. It's full of aliens. No seriously, the Kords are the only human beings in the entire town. The rest of them are humanoid aliens.

Also, d'aww, grumpy teenage Carters.

Oh cool.

I don't have much Ted-Canon, but he graduated from High School in a small town called Marquette, which was secretly an alien colony (the Kords were the only human family in town.) But this kind of contradicts a scan I saw where Ted complains that he's a city boy more used to playing in hydrants than swimming in the ocean.

When he's killed in OMAC Project, Ted's living in Highland Park.

Oh, okay, thanks. I knew it wasn't on the North Shore.

But this kind of contradicts a scan I saw where Ted complains that he's a city boy more used to playing in hydrants than swimming in the ocean.

A lot of Chicago families moved to the suburbs when the kids started school. So for the first few years of his life, Ted could have definitely lived in the city. That doesn't explain why nobody ever took him to the beach, though. Lake Michigan is right there.

“Why not?” Mike looked down at his muscle-T and spandex. “Everyone does. I saw it in Dirty Dancing.”

Love the new chapter, and this line made me crack up!
