Oh my god! Your so lucky!!! I live only an hour away from where the concert was at, an HOUR, and I still didn't get to go!
I was planning on going, but it was Easter weekend so my parents said no D:
Easter comes every year, Miyavi doesn't! It was so unfair!

It sounds like the concert was really fun though...and he looks drop dead gorgeous in that photo. Do you remember what songs he actually played at the concert?? I'm dying to know ;)

I dunno if that seems like an hour and a half of Miyav plus his talking and his changing of clothes.

I almost wasn't gonna go! >_< I had to get my dad's permission. (I'm not a little kid, am an adult and a college student too) He let us go quite late on Saturday so I just bought the pass for that day and I looked around and didn't buy anything except for a few buttons :P I ended up spending everything on Miyavi merch for my sisters and I. If my dad knew I paid to go he wouldn't have let us go. I tell him conventions are free to the public... I didn't go Friday for the Q&A because it was Good Friday and thought I shouldn't if I was gonna go Saturday so it wouldn't be so bad. Easter's quite fun! I find money in Eggs! lol

lol it's cool. I saw him again in July this year. That's like a REALLY old entry, from last year. haha. I saw all the nice comments you left on ESNIM. Thanx so much~! I'm glad you're reading it and like it so far. I need to continue writing the sequel, I went on an indefinite hiatus for quite a few months. It took me nearly a year to finish writing ESNIM and I started the sequel with the new year but unexpected things happen. I hope that I can pick up where I left off before you finish catching up.

I know he'll be here in Houston in late October but he won't be performing. He's supposed to be judging a guitar competition. I wonder if we'll be able to see him. I do know for a fact that the band Gakido will be performing so that will be cool.

I was so disappointed when D'espairsRay cancelled their Houston show. I was looking forward to it and was going to take some friends for a 2nd J-rock experience. I took them to see Miyavi and they loved him. Oh well. I'm also disappointed that Dir en Grey skipped Texas completely this year. I've seen them 2 years in a row and expected them to come back this year when I found out they were touring again, but nope. I also hoped they would add more tour dates like they were doing but September is here and they're not coming at all. =/

I expected this to be an epic year with concerts. BACK-ON, Wonder Girls feat. 2PM, Miyavi, and much more. But it's still the best year. I'll be able to add Gakido to that list of 2010 gigs.

I just hope someone else decides to visit us in Nov and Dec.

Hmm...I know that Luna Sea and D'espairsRay are coming here, but I can't see them.

Gakido? I don't know them. But I looked them up just know..and the first thing that I read was, that one of the members died in the beginning of this year...

You really go to a lot of shows! That's amazing!
Well for me, I didn't really go to the smaller bands showcases.
But I guess it wouldn't hurt to check them out! If they come here that is^^

But I would love to go to one of GazettE or Gackt. That's still on my to do list!!

There are a lot of underrated Bands that are a lot better than some that are famous, in my opinion..xD but oh well..what can I do? Just listen to their music and support them.
