hey, i've been there with the whole screwing up the knee thing, and you're right, it pretty much sucks. All I can say is, it feels like heaven when you start getting back to the simple things (like walking) you used to do. And I'll say to you the same thing that everyone said to me: Soon it will all be in the past. (But hey, having people do things for you isn't all bad.)
