US Airways, anyone? I think not....

It's been a while since I've written in this thing, not because nothing has been happening, but because I've been insanely busy and entirely too lazy to write about any of it.

Good news is that I'm finally done with physics for the summer and I've passed both terms, so I'm on my way to graduating in May (yay!).  I met with a bunch of advisers last ( Read more... )

Wow, Kara, I read that whole excruciating ordeal, and I'm so sorry. That sucks hardcore. I mean, I knew it was bad, but when I read it all in one thing like that, wow, it's really bad. Please don't think I'm mad or whatever that you didn't make it to Seattle. It really sucks, and I would have loved for you to come (especially because Laura was not receptive to doing music-related things), but I totally understand that your flight was just cursed or something. You certainly did all you could do. Next time perhaps. In any case, I just stayed with the Bat for two extra days and with Laura for one, so it was no problem. Also, I talked to the hostel, and they didn't charge us for the rooms at all, so we're all good on that front. Really, though, you must see Seattle. It is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. It's right up there with Paris for me, though they are incredibly different places. The Seattle waterfront is gorgeous, everything is very clean (I saw almost no litter when I was there), there are tons of ( ... )

Now that my first attempt to go has been stomped on by the combat boots of US Airways, I really want to see Seattle. Perhaps another time we can go or I can find my way there sometime in the future or something. I'm glad you enjoyed it and would love to hear about all that happened and all the stuff you saw while you were there. :o)

In terms of the Radiohead travel arrangements, I may just take you up on your offer to split a cab back and stay with you in West Chester. I've been trying to see if I can get back to New York that night, but I can't seem to find a way back that won't involve a bunch of transfers on NJ Path trains and stuff that I don't feel like dealing with after the concert. We should try to arrange a place to meet up after the concert or something so that we can catch the last bus.

It's going to be a long time before any Seattle stuff gets posted electronically, since I've only handwritten two days so far. Oh, the tension is terrible! :-)

Definitely come back to WC with me, dude. If we split it, the cab will be cheaper, and my grandmom says she'd feel much better if there were two of us traveling together, as opposed to each of us alone. I will be at the venue really early, and I will try to look for a good meeting spot and I'll call you that day and let you know.
