So the power went out at school today? Of course it was the last five minutes. The HS doesn't have a generator though, apparently, because everything was pitch black unless there was a window in your class room. The landscapers aren't Mexican. They're from Equador, and apparently, according to their boss, Equador has a superstition against snakes. That's why they do not like them. So I retract my statement about Mexicans not liking snakes. They have this bangin little gadget thing though that picks up the snake so you can put it in a bucket and leave it be ( Read more... )

Today is Pop's birfday. HAPPY BIRFDAY POP! I know this because I heard my dad loudly speaking into the telephone earlier. Pop is partially deaf and hates how his hearing aid makes everything loud (so that he can hear it...?) so he doesn't use it.
