Last August in celebration of 10 years in L.A. I made a list of "10 Thing I've Never Done." I'm happy to report that a year later I have completed 6 of the 10, one of them being to attend a sitcom taping. This Tuesday night I was happy to score a ticket to see "The Big Bang Theory," which unlike many other shows, are not easy tickets to come by ( Read more... )

Here via your link at the community. The taping sounds like it was a lot of fun. It's interesting to see your read up, because I was this close to going myself. I have some open standing tickets and was sorta up in the air about it. Ended up having to work, however, so I'll catch another one.

Anymore, more than this post, I've enjoyed hearing about your "list" of 10 things to do in LA. Living in LA myself, it was particularly interesting to me. You seem as fascinated by this city as I am. It certainly is an 'experience,' wouldn't you say?

At any rate, great post. Cheers, and I hope you enjoy another 10 years in LA. :D

Definitely an experience. I do a lot of tours for natives and CityRace and things like that - feel free to email me for details! Thanks for the comment! :)

Thank you for sharing your view of the taping! I was there too, my first time also. My focus was on seeing Jim in person, and it's a bit disappointing to realize how far away you are from the actors most of the time. Even when they are directly in front of you being introduced, they are about 10 feet below you - the people in front of me blocked my view. The VIPs in the first 3 rows have the best chance of seeing them, but how you get to be a VIP is the trick ( ... )

I think that Kaley has been on sitcom sets almost half her life and since Penny is an Everywoman her dialouge makes the most 'sense' as it were - it's how you or I would respond it a situation. Therefore I would THINK it would be somewhat "easier" for her, just due to experience.

Jim just has so much more to memorize and it's nothing that I 'normal' person would say. I do not envy him, that's for sure!

If I were any of them, I'd want to be Raj! Not much to memorize there!

Verrrry interesting Jill !
I would like everyone to know that Jill has been on hiatus from her TV/Movie website for about 6 months while she honored her Dad, me.
She participated in TNT training for the Leukemia and Lymphobia Society. She finally finished with her completion hike in Yosemite National Park last month.
Her goal was $3900 and actually, she rcvd over $5000 for the Society in honor of me.
I am happy to report that I have finished chemo and raditaion treatments and the lymphoma should be gone. Yeaaaaa!
If you want some good reading, very funny at times, write Jill for a link to her TNT blog.
Thank-you Jill / Love Dad
