I adore this man.

Jon Stewart is so well-spoken and smart as hell. Nate told me about this a while back, and I finally watched it today. I love how they sit facing him. The desk is even angled toward the guest. It's like an interrogation or something. It's meant to be intimidating, but Mr. Stewart just doesn't fall into the trap.

Jon. No H.

Crossfire reminds me of Hardball on MSNBC, which I also totally hate and call it the "White Men Shouting Hour". (I have to put up with it for at least a moment or two every evening because I like watching Countdown and tuning in at the exact second Keith comes on is a science that escapes me.)

lol I actually realized the H thing after posting and corrected it! ;) I would never disgrace him with an H! =P

I swear I thought I'd read a book by Keith Olbermann, but I guess not. My dad has a book called 110 People Who Are Screwing Up America. He let me read it and it's absolutely hilarious. Courtney Love is in the book and all it says for her is "HO." Awesome. I let Nate read it and he says that the author is a conservative. I don't care though, because it's funny. I swear I thought the Countdown host wrote it. So weird.

You should read that book! It's hilarious.

I'm good. Looking for a job. No luck though. They want experience. But to get experience, you need to have a job. But to get a job, you need to have experience. WTF. It's frustrating!

It's getting warmer here. What I love though, is that you can plant tulips here! It's too hot down in Georgia for them. I bought a potted plant that had a real pretty hyacinth with two tulips in it. They were really pot bound and so I put them in a flower bed in the yard a day or so ago. So hopefully they'll perk up and stick around. It's rainy this time of year, but lately it's been really sunny and nice. I hope it doesn't get too hot! The weather was what I hated about Georgia. So hot and humid all the time. Nate says it won't get like that, though. Thank goodness! How are things your way?

oh you've discovered the age-old paradox - the double-edged sword, so to speak. you can't get a job without experience and no experience without a job. I even just finished my paralegal certificate program and probably will have doors slammed in my face because I have no actual "paralegal" experience. how can I get it though when I just got my certificate?? Good luck! you've got your personality and smarts though, so you'll get something soon!

what's Nate doing these days?

oh I love tulips! you will definitely have a different climate there in Mass - are you near Boston? I love cool, rainy days - we had one yesterday and it was heavenly.
things here are good - I'm done with school yay!!!! and it's warmer yay!!! and I have very few worries these days, except for my still uncertain future.

good luck with your job search and all! love ya!

*hugs*
