Re: internship -- that's AWESOME! My one concern though...where you said you couldn't sit for board exams because the school isn't accredited -- you don't need to sit for exams to be a vet tech in TX, but what if you guys ever decide to move to a different state? Would your entire education and experience be null and void? Or would a vet hire you based on your work experience? I don't know a lot about that but it's just something to think about. Seriously, though, that's awesome!
I'm thinking about pursuing DVM myself, though I'm not 100% sure. BOARD EXAMS OR NOT, I'LL HIRE YOU. XD
It really depends on what state we go to, if we ever did move. Not all of them require board certification and a lot would take experience over the paper honestly. With how specialized Matt's job is with Blue Cross Blue Shield right now, I doubt moving will ever be in our cards sadly :c The Richardson headquaters actually made his position for him so unless we got in good somewhere else and had them do the same, we're stuck!
hehe, my little sister is still saying she's going to open a clinic herself in Colorado, so you guys can fight for me >:D *basks as ladies fight over her* Oh if a girl can dream XD
