I have to say that Mistborn is by far the best Fantasy book I've read so far. Granted, I haven't read much because usually I am not impressed. LotR was alright, but nothing spectacular. Wizard's First Rule was good in some parts, meh in others. I couldn't even finish Wheel of Time book 1, I got really bored. I wasn't expecting Mistborn to be any

Here's an unmixed review from me: Well of Ascension is better than the first book, and Hero of Ages is better than the first two. Seriously, the series is VERY well-written.

One thing that's kind of cool, also, is that he's posted annotations on his website on a chapter-by-chapter basis. It's basically a book version of a "Director's Commentary" that you'll find on a DVD. Pretty sweet.
