1) Look at the list and put an 'x' after those you have read.
2) Add a '+' to the ones you LOVE.
2b) Add a '-' to the ones you HATE. (WHY "@" and not "-"?)
3) Star (*) those you plan on reading.

Who would say 1984 was bad? It is... practically the definition of accurate social commentary.

"Why would I finish something I hate?" I always wonder that when in the middle of a book I hate, but then usually finish it. That is the difference between you and me :P

Lots of people say its bad. I think more of the problem is that while its valid social/political commentary, it is dated. Or more people are blind. One of the two.

Your book reading experience is remarkably different than my own (minus the nerdy sci-fi books). Unfortunate side effect of not attending American public school I suppose.
