You know, there are two kinds of wants/plans/dreams

You can have two types of a dream. You can have the thing that you want, but you don't REALLY have any intention of pursuing. Oh, you may make tentative steps toward it, you may take classes in related fields, you may TELL people what you're planning, but, really, you're not going to do anything about it ( Read more... )

That sounds like an excellent dream to me. Though I expect you'll get upset at me if I start throwing your glassware in the fireplace.

Good luck!

I've been pricing things out, and I think I CAN bring glassware in at under $.50/glass. Although I'd rather double prices and have the option cost a dollar -- It'd give more leeway.

My father has agreed to design a parabolic rear plate for a fireplace, if I get the thing together, to help reduce broken glass backsplash.

But that's years off at best.

If you do it, I'll be sure to come by and patronize you when I'm in Boston.

(Unless of course you plan to put it "just off Route 29A, way out in Suffolk County" on Long Island.)

Hey, this is YEARS off. C'mon -- I need the experience of being a beverage manager in an establishment where someone ELSE is taking care of property taxes and zoning issues, before I take on property owner duties as well.

When I do get the thing started, though, public transporation access will be an important consideration.

That distinction between class 1 and 2 dreams, and the relation to depression, is a statement of something I've been feeling lately. Thanks.

Meanwhile, I am taking slow steps into turning type 1 dreams into type 2 dreams.
