A question about our kitty

Why does our cat react to our dirty laundry as if it were catnip?

if you ever figure it out, let me know. I've been wondering that about one of ours.

If that's her in the icon, she's lovely. No, I'd imagine you'd rather not know! One of mine plays with bras, but so far only clean ones....

She wuvs woo.

Seriously, it's better than a cat who does obscene things with clothing etc. that smells like you. That's my cat: he, um, pleasures himself on my sweaters, blankets, you name it. Luckily he does not, um, ejaculate. yes, he's been "adjusted." He's just weird.

Not sure, but both Izzy and Baldric have a thing about laundry. Izzy likes to sleep in the dirty laundry, Baldric likes the stuff that has just come up from the dryer. I think he likes the static cling. He's kind of strange that way.

Oh, and they both dig my cycling socks right after I've gotten off the bike. These would be the same socks laereth doesn't want in the house.

As opposed to the warmth because it's fresh from the dryer?

Mind, I'm not arguing with the concept that Baldric is strange enough to be after the static cling. Cats have truly alien hobbies, and he's a bit tweaked even for a cat. :)

Saffie the dog has been known to have a stash of my underwear in her bed. Like three or four pairs. It cracks me the hell up.

1. Laundry is a cat hobby. Mittens used to love to sleep in my dirty laundry when I was growing up.

2. Dirty laundry might be a cat hobby because it smells strongly of the cat's people, which is probably soothing.
