Overall, a hot, strangely sad, and nice little pwp.

You missed one huge goof though- John isn't a Marine - he's Air Force (a Zoomie) - and it tossed me right out of the story.

You might also adapt your warning - the story "torture" is no where near what your tags offer/suggest - and it'll put a lot of people off reading.
