Here's my annual Christmas/Yule reminder: If you're not a blood relative, please don't get me a gift. I won't get you one or feel obligated to do so, and my Christmas season will be less stressful.

Edit: Cards are fine, tho don't expect to see any from me. :)

*hug* You are not my blood relative, and I won't get you a gift or make you feel obligated. I do want to know if you'd be willing to agree to sometime us 'gifting' each other, with a movie/anime session where I bring cookies and you supply hot-tea? The gift would simply be time well spent with each other during the holidays. ^_^

*grins* Not sure when we'll do that, but it's my kind of gifty-ness. I like Earl Grey as a favorite, and various green-teas. I'll pretty much have ANY tea but Chai though. I can NOT get into the Chai-thing, so *shrug*.

I'm actually trying to wean blood relatives off of the gift exchange too. My parents like it so we're still doing that with them a bit, but Eoin and I haven't exchanged gifts at bday/xmass in a couple years now. :)

That's a long term goal.

One thing I liked about Dora's gigantic family is they reduced it to a single gift exchange. Everyone drew a name each year, and you only had to buy one gift, for that one person, for the whole adult side of the family.

I thought it was a good way to keep things less stressful and still have some traditional exchange.
