I'm also a bad person, because once you pointed out that terrible idea, I instantly started concocting improbable scenarios for agonizingly bad fanfic. Lance, of course, melts through Gen. Sykes' cold demeanor with his humble charm in every one of them, except for the ones where Gen. Sykes just takes what he wants.

Sykes brushed back a strand of sweat-slicked hair from Deschene's forehead and gazed earnestly into his deep brown eyes.

He could feel his face aflame as he stammered into a whisper

Lance smiled - that easy smile that had melted his heart since the moment they'd met.
