After lurking for years, I thought I'd try to pin down one of the passing tumbleweeds that inhabit my mind. This is pretty much a PWP that occurred to me after reading too many soulbond/soulmate fics. Criticism is very welcome. If you think I should stay a lurker, tell me that too - it certainly would appeal to my lazy-daisy nature ( Read more... )

Wow. It's mythic. A Snape-crystal made out of the bathroom mirror. AU of course, but neat. And mint-green plus the blood would look black. Double-neat. It's a shame to end it when it's so obviously a beginning.

Thanks for the kind comments. This is really a one-off foray into delurkerdom :) and I'm going back to vegetating for a while.

Perfect. Snape and Harry all lovey-dovey after a forced bond (or worse yet, mpreg with no hard feelings) always leaves me feeling as if the author has been smoking crack. This Harry is pefectly in line with canon--hates Snape, never gonna stop, end of story.

Thanks. I've nothing against forced bonds or Mpreg IF they are done well. It simply occurred to me one day (while brainlessly watching my kids at their swimming lessons) to consider what if Harry never gave in and everyone expected Sev to win him over one way or another.

Wow. Ouch. Freaky. That is amazingly powerful for something that you say is your first foray into writing. Thanks.

I ordered him to take any action he deemed necessary to ensure that Harry loved him. Without positive feelings, the shared power of the bond would never manifest.”

This is one of the reasons I really don't like Dumbledore. Victory at any cost, eh, old man!

The idea was well thought out and well delivered. No reason on earth to going back to being a Lurker. Welcome to the world of fanfic writing. :-)

Wow. That was heart wrenching. Very well written. You should definitely not remain a lurker.
