This year I have a sweetheart and of course I'm glad to, but whilst everyone seems to be swept up in waves of 'Happy Valentines Day!' (or even 'Happy Singles Awareness Day!'), I'm battling the tides, screaming, 'Kung Hei Fat Choi!!'.

HAPPY CNY, B2! We don't celebrate (because no one in my family is Chinese) but I usually get to butt in on Jackie's celebrations, and extract candy, mooncakes, etc, etc. but alas, she is away this time.

Nope, no mooncakes for us. We had this other glutinous cake. The owner of this little place we go to for breakfast (Chinese, of course) gave it to us ^^ It was my first time trying it, and my dad panfried it (with egg O.o), but it was nice!

We didnt do anything for Valentines. I didnt get any Godiva or Ghiradelli chocolates. He said he'd get me white roses, but he couldnt find them. My poor dear has never heard of or been to a flower shop. LOLS. Oh, well. I considered me buying for the movies (My Name is Khan) and him taking me for Gujarati thali our respective gifts to one another. ^_^

... even though Godiva wouldve been nice. I've never had those. But shhhh. <333
