OMG! I almost had to cover my eyes the way my mom used to do when I was younger and people were kissing on TV! Goodness! Are you trying to KILL us?!! *glares at xiasangli before going to take a cold shower*
"Love button" - I have an aversion to the word, clitoris. It sounds like a disease, not the most pleasurable organ known to humankind. It has 8,000 nerve endings. The penis only has 4,000

"Human/Vulcans/Different species - In another more real-world situation, I'd probably allow your logic to sway me. In ST, nah. The existence of Spock himself has already violated the rules of nature as we currently understand them, as you've noted. "
True, however we are never told in TOS HOW Spock is conceived and carried to term. In one of the novels, they go into great detail about all the medical support and artificial womb, genetic manipulation, etc. - actions taken by the medical community to bring him to term. I always thought that was the best explanation - that he was very much wanted and that his parents went through a hell of a lot of trouble to make him viable.... so it kind of pissed me off in NuTrek when they just made it seem so simple.

I never received any vibe regarding this in NuTrek one way or another. I was too busy being pissed off by other things.
As for Spock and Uhura, where there will be a pregnancy in this series remains to be seen. How easily or difficult it would be for her to become pregnant and when are things to be considered later.

Yes! Killing people with porn is a skill and I'm fairly proud of it. I do so with the best of intentions though. :D
