"Even the illegal cargo?" he asked with a smile.

"Well, yeah." She grinned a bit. "There's places to hide it if we look to get boarded, but usually that don't happen, so it's easier to have it out here."

"That's the mule," she nodded at it. "Gets banged up a lot an' I have to fix it. Keep askin' the captain to get an air transport one but I don't think he will 'til this one's well and truly dead."

She led him back through the door in the rear of the cargo bay. "Back here's the infirmary, an' the lounge."
