Duo was currently in the process of memorizing the layout of the school grounds. It was the easiest way to get familiar with the school and the sort of information that could come in handy some day. Not to mention it's partially why he seemed to be a part of the highlights of the day.

Currently, there is unfamiliar food in the area and someone who certainly looks like a teacher. This lead to thoughts of two distinct men who'd both promised to help him learn to cook. Either way, it didn't matter really because it was weird food that he'd certainly never eaten before, time to see if he could wiggle some samples despite that he'd not long ago eaten at the cafeteria. The more food the merrier and all that.

"'Sup 'teach. What's that?"

Aizen looked up at Duo, his most eager pupil thus far. Only here for a few moments and already he has students asking him questions regarding his subject.

"This?" he asked indicating to the dolmas. "It's called dolmas. A Greek dish made of grape leaves and various fillings. Today I tried rice, pine nuts and some seasonings, although I think it could have used less onion."

He held out the bottom of the bento box to Duo, hesitantly at first. Most people he met were hesitant about trying new foods, especially ones made with strange ingredients like grape leaves. Still, Aizen thought Duo seemed curious enough to try one anyway.

"If you like you are more than welcome to have one. They are cold though."

It shouldn't be surprising that Aizen recognized him, something about distinctive speech patterns or something. It's food! Of course he had to ask questions.

"Dolm's" Of course he'd bastardize the word, somehow that wasn't surprising. "Grape l'ves?" It was an interesting idea, heck he hadn't known you could eat those.

You offered food, now how are you going to get rid of him? Instead of accepting, the long haired teen settles down next to the teacher and then takes one, popping it into his mouth.

"S'nt bad. Ain't had nothing like it, but's pretty good."

Aizen bit the inside of his lip at the mispronunciation of the dish, but he didn't let it show outwardly. He could not hold it against Duo, really, but he made a mental note to add correct pronunciation to his lesson plan.

"Yes, grape leaves," said Aizen as he took a bite of one himself. "I am glad you like them. Until I stumbled across this recipe it never occurred to me that one could cook with grape leaves. Do you think this would be a good dish to prepare in class?"

Minato, having eaten a hurried lunch, was out walking and enjoying the slight breeze of the afternoon. As usual, he was listening to the music that was all but blasting from his ever-present headphones (he only ever took them off in his classes, and even then he listened to them until he stepped in at the last moment). He noticed his newest teacher (he'd dropped music history, and although he hadn't liked dropping it, he'd realized partly through the course that he already knew most of what his former teacher had been lecturing on) eating outside and gave a polite, friendly wave.

Aizen mid-bite noticed Minato and gave a wave back. Had he met him before? Aizen thought as he chewed. Remembering faces was difficult sometimes, but no matter.

"Hello there! How are you this afternoon?"

For some reason, Minato got the feeling that Aizen didn't quite recognize him. Nevertheless, he stepped closer and smiled. "I'm well," he replied. "And yourself?" If Aizen truly didn't know him just yet, Minato could always re-introduce himself.

"I am quite well!" said Aizen. He was embarrassed to admit it, but it was better to out right admit that he had forgotten where he knew Minato from. "Forgive me, but I cannot quite remember where I bumped into you here. Are you one of the students who intends to take the international cooking course?"
